Venice is famous around the world for its romantic canals and architecture, and this cityscape scene is one of the most photographed views. It was very difficult to take this picture, because the bridge I was on, the only one who had this view, was closed – meaning its sides were covered and I had to raise the camera over my head and take the picture without actually looking. And then, there were a lot of people moving around me on that bridge so I didn’t have a lot of space and peace to take the shot. Despite all the obstacles, I am really happy how this picture of Santa Maria della Salute on the Grand canal, at golden hour, turned out! This image would look very romantic as a painted acrylic, in your living room, maybe next to where you like to read!
